The EU Strategy for the Alpine Region (EUSALP) is tackling climate challenges by accelerating the energy transition. The EUSALP Energy Award 2024 celebrated small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that exemplify sustainable innovation. Focusing on the theme "Energy Transition in SMEs", the awards recognised businesses reducing energy use and prioritising sustainability. Winners were announced on 14 November at the EUSALP Annual Forum in Brdo pri Kranju, Slovenia.

- Cyprianerhof Dolomit Resort (Italy, South Tyrol)

This eco-conscious hotel sets an example for the hospitality industry. Cyprianerhof leverages energy efficiency measures like heat recovery, free cooling systems, and a woodchip heating system.
