2nd Master Class in video

The video of the second Master Class has just been released. It summarises training organised in Brussels from 7 to 9 May 2018.

Alterning between case studies, presentations by experts and group exercises, participants were very pleased with the programme and to have the opportunity to meet colleagues from other agencies and regions. “It’s a significant opportunity for us to compare at local level with other energy agencies”, confided Matteo Mazzolini from the Energy Agency of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Italy. Sylvain Godinot, from ALEC Lyon (France), also appreciated the networking aspect, as well as the new knowledge in project financing he acquired: “I came to this Master Class to engage better the agency in the financial aspects of projects, through the use of ESCOs and Energy Performance Contracting for example”. Representatives from the European Commission (DG ENER and EASME) were also present throughout the three days and were able to engage with participants.

The next Master Class will take place from 19 to 21 September 2018 and will be the first training session on Module 2 – The Involvement of Banks and Mobilising Private Investment. Click here to apply.
