Description
Registrations are now open for the 2024 Right to Energy Forum! From 2-4 December in Brussels, this event invites everyone to join forces in tackling energy poverty and creating solutions aligned with social and climate justice. Attendees will explore how to maintain momentum and ramp up action to make clean, safe, and affordable energy accessible to all.
What to Expect:
The Forum promises three impactful mornings of talks and discussions at Atelier29, featuring policy insights, expert panels, and collaborative workshops. You’ll hear from decision-makers, advocates, and thought leaders as they address critical issues like the Fit for 55 package, the EU’s strategy on energy poverty, and the universal right to clean energy. Each morning will conclude with a networking lunch.
Afternoon Satellite Events:
The afternoons offer special sessions to dive even deeper:
- December 2 – WELLBASED Policy Event: Explore the link between energy poverty and public health.
- December 4 – European Economic and Social Committee (EESC): Attend Friends of the Earth Europe’s "Powerful Encounters" exhibition, featuring stories of resilience and activism around energy poverty.
