This sector currently accounts for nearly half of Europe’s energy consumption, with 75% still reliant on fossil fuels. While local action is essential, many cities struggle with limited resources and capacity to implement effective H&C strategies. Digital tools offer a solution, enabling more cost-effective and efficient planning. Platforms like Hotmaps and THERMOS can streamline the development of district energy projects.
