Description

Between May 2020 and September 2022, the European City Facility (EUCF), supported by Horizon 2020, launched four calls for applications, resulting in 215 selected beneficiaries from 25 countries. This initiative was a key step in driving local investment in energy efficiency and renewable energy across Europe. Out of the selected cities, 202 successfully submitted detailed Investment Concepts.

These Investment Concepts outline each city's roadmap for their projects, identifying various funding and financing sources, such as private investments, EU funding programs, European Investment Bank initiatives, crowdfunding, and partnerships with Energy Service Companies (ESCOs).

The EUCF Impact Report consolidates the potential impact of these projects, including data on energy savings, renewable energy production, investments, and emissions reductions. The report provides both an overall summary and country-specific insights, while also showcasing some of the standout achievements of individual local beneficiaries.
