ManagEnergy Expert Missions: 3rd call for applications now open

We would like to invite you to host a "ManagEnergy Expert Mission" and strengthen your role in your region/city!

In the context of the Expert Missions, carefully chosen experts visit selected energy agencies for 3 days. They provide tailor-made support in developing new services or boosting existing ones, with a focus on services for triggering additional energy efficiency investment in the hosts’ region/city. The selection of the specific expert, the topics to be addressed and the agenda of the visit are discussed and agreed between ManagEnergy and the host agency.

These highly customised missions include:

·         in-house meetings and training with agency staff on specific programmes, projects and services that are important to the host agency. If of interest, the agenda can address not only financing sustainable energy investments but also how the agency’s related activities could be financed.

·         a meeting with regional/local stakeholders in the aim of overcoming barriers for sustainable energy investments. These stakeholders are selected and invited by the host agency.

·         sharing the agency’s own experience and increasing its profile and visibility in Europe.

The ManagEnergy initiative covers all costs related to the expert. The host agency provides the meeting facilities and is responsible for selecting and inviting stakeholders. The date for the Expert Mission is agreed between the host agency and ManagEnergy. Four successful Expert Missions have already taken place.
