Pact2School is a campaign run by the European Climate Pact that connects climate advocates with schools and universities across Europe. Its goal is to engage young people in climate action and with their communities.

The campaign invites members of the European Climate Pact community to deliver climate-focused awareness or engagement sessions in schools and universities. After this step, they can take further action to support student-led climate initiatives or organise more activities to get the community involved!

How to Get Involved

Climate Pact Ambassadors and Partners can get started in Pact2School through the following steps:

  • Organise a session: Contact a local school or university and agree on a climate-related activity suitable for the age group.
  • Register your activity: Log your session through the Pact2School platform to be officially part of the campaign.
  • Support student projects: After completing at least one session, participating schools can take part in the Pact2School Challenge, where students can apply for up to €1,000 in funding to implement a climate action project.
  • Go even further by organising extra engagement activities for groups of school or university students.

Support and Resources

Participants have access to ready-to-use materials, guidance documents, and age-appropriate tools to help deliver engaging and effective sessions. These resources are designed to reduce preparation time and ensure high-quality interactions.

Pact2School is an accessible way to turn climate awareness into concrete action—starting in the classroom and extending into the community.
