Open Call – Peer Learning Programme 2025–2026 for Covenant Coordinators and Supporters

Regional authorities and energy agencies can now apply to join the Covenant of Mayors' Peer Learning Programme and lead the way in heating and cooling decarbonisation.

The Covenant of Mayors – Europe has opened applications for its Peer Learning Programme 2025–2026, offering regional and provincial authorities and not-for-profit organisations the chance to exchange best practices and decarbonise local heating and cooling systems.

This hands-on learning programme is aimed at Covenant Coordinators and Supporters that assist municipalities in preparing and implementing Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plans (SECAPs).

🧩 What to expect:

  • Three interactive online sessions between September 2025 and January 2026
  • Peer exchanges focused on replacing inefficient or fossil-based thermal energy systems
  • Tailored feedback, case discussions, and actionable planning

Participants can apply as mentees (seeking guidance), mentors (offering expertise), or both—depending on their experience and interest areas.

📅 Deadline to apply: 4 July 2025 (midnight CEST)
📬 Selected applicants will be notified in August 2025
