About the New European Bauhaus Facility 2025-2027
The New European Bauhaus Facility 2025-2027 is a funding tool for the New European Bauhaus, which fosters and supports innovative solutions to make neighbourhoods more sustainable, inclusive, and beautiful. The Facility is financed through Horizon Europe, among other EU programmes and funds.
The Facility supports the deployment of research and innovation projects under two components: Research and Innovation and Roll-out.
The Research & Innovation (R&I) component funds projects supporting the Bauhaus' principles through research, testing, and demonstration. It focuses on three major themes:
- Connecting the green transformation, social inclusion, and local democracy
- Circular and regenerative approaches for the built environment
- Innovative funding and new business models for the transformation of neighbourhoods.
The Roll-out component, on the other hand, builds on support from EU programmes to scale up, deploy, and implement innovative solutions that align with the principles of the New European Bauhaus, including sustainable living and community empowerment.
