The Driving Urban Transitions Partnership will open its DUT Call 2026 on 1 September 2026, offering funding for transnational research and innovation projects that help cities address urban challenges and move towards a climate-neutral and resilient future.
The call will support projects contributing to one or more of the Partnership’s three Transition Pathways: 15-minute City, Circular Urban Economies and Positive Energy Districts.
Eligible applicants include research organisations, companies, urban government authorities, civil society organisations, consumers, and actors from the cultural and creative sectors. Each project must include at least three partners from three different participating countries and involve a municipality or local authority.
The call will fund three-year projects focusing on urban areas. Most projects are expected to have a total budget request of around €1-2 million.
