The Interreg Europe Policy Learning Platform is inviting energy experts to join a peer review for the Ústí Energy Centre on 22–23 January 2025 in the Czech Republic. This collaborative event is your chance to help shape a sustainable future for a region in transition from coal dependency.
What is the Peer Review About?
Established in 2022, the Ústí Energy Centre supports local governments, businesses, and citizens in boosting energy efficiency. Now, the region is working to expand its efforts by creating an energy One-Stop-Shop (OSS) to:
- Centralize energy renovation and renewable energy initiatives.
- Combat energy poverty and empower energy communities.
- Support the implementation of EU directives, such as EED III and EPBD IV.
This peer review will connect European experts to exchange ideas, provide guidance, and recommend strategies to help the Ustí Region achieve its energy goals.
Who Are We Looking For?
We are seeking experts with experience in:
- Setting up and managing energy One-Stop-Shops.
- Identifying target groups, funding mechanisms, and partnerships.
- Monitoring and evaluating OSS impact through KPIs and tools.
Participants will engage in focused discussions over 1½ days, collaborating with local stakeholders to deliver actionable policy recommendations.
Why Participate?
- Gain firsthand insights into the challenges of a transitioning region.
- Collaborate with a network of experienced energy professionals.
- Contribute to shaping innovative energy policies.
