Description
On 10 June 2026, from 14:30 to 16:00, ManagEnergy contributes to the session “What’s the Story? New Narratives for Energy Transition” taking place at the Charlemagne Building, De Gasperi room, Brussels, as part of European Sustainable Energy Week 2026.
While Europe continues to advance ambitious policies under the EU Green Deal and related initiatives, the challenge increasingly lies in implementation. Bringing together ManagEnergy, the Energy Efficiency Watch 5 (EEW5) project, and contributions from OÖ Energiesparverband (ESV), the session highlights how communication supports the implementation of EU energy policies across Europe.
Participants will hear from Christiane Egger (OÖ Energiesparverband) and Daniel Becker (Guidehouse), who will present EEW5 findings and share insights from their work with public authorities and energy agencies. A high-level exchange with Nicolás González Casares, Member of the European Parliament, will offer a European policy perspective and reflect on how communication can support stronger implementation across Member States. The discussion will be moderated by Jan Geiss (EUFORES).
For energy agencies, narratives are not just communication tools. They are key to engaging stakeholders, building trust, and enabling implementation.
