Description
ConnectHeat, a project co-funded by the European Union, is organising an interactive webinar to promote the development of heating and cooling (H&C) communities across the Balkans. Despite being a vital part of Europe’s energy use, the potential of collective heating and cooling solutions remains largely untapped.
This session will showcase how municipalities, energy agencies, universities, and local stakeholders can work together to plan, finance, and manage sustainable thermal energy communities tailored to local needs.
Organised with the support of Euroheat & Power, and contributions from project partners including Ambiente Italia, REGEA, the Energy Agency of Plovdiv, and the Democritus University of Thrace, the webinar will present practical tools, inspiring success stories, and discuss the role of local heating and cooling plans
Don’t miss this opportunity to discover how cooperation around heating and cooling can boost the local energy transition in the Balkans and beyond.
