Description
Greet Geo, Greet CE and Reheateast are organising an online webinar entitled “Digitalisation, Project Bundling and Crowdfunding in Energy Waste Utilisation” on 22 January 2026 at 15:00 - 17:00 CET.
The webinar will present innovative and scalable digital solutions that support the technical and business preparation and project bundling of geothermal, ambient and waste heat utilisation projects for heating and cooling purposes.
Key topics that will be addressed during the webinar include:
- Experiences and best practices of relevant projects
- Rationale behind the use of these digital solutions
- Blended funding options, including public funding and commercial loans
- Crowdfunding as a financing mechanism for sustainable energy projects
- The French regulatory system that promotes crowdfunding and innovative practices in the use of heat pumps for geothermal, ambient and waste heat utilisation
Programme and Speakers
The webinar will be moderated by Krisztina Dely, who will introduce the session. Presenting speakers include:
- Alessandro Murratzu from IdroGeo, a firm that specialises in the development and implementation of innovative energy projects in Italy, including low-enthalpy geothermal utilisation using heat pumps in Montecattini Terme and in the city centre of Florence. The company prepares digital groundwater hydrogeological models, as well as seismic, geomorphological, hydraulic and hydrogeological availability surveys.
- Benoit Collas from Enerfip, a European crowdfunding service provider focused on sustainable energy crowdlending. Through its digital platform, Enerfip has raised over EUR 700 million for renewable energy projects.
- Pál Kiss from Sewergy,a firm that enables lower-cost, faster and lower-risk preparation of wastewater waste heat utilisation projects. These projects represent a profitable local energy source for cities and can also contribute to electricity grid balancing through the use of large-scale heat pumps for demand response.
The webinar will conclude with a Q&A session.
