Description

Local heating and cooling (H&C) communities are a powerful yet underused lever for decarbonisation. On 25 June 2025, the ConnectHeat project invites stakeholders from Central and Eastern Europe to discover how these communities can foster a just, inclusive and locally anchored energy transition.
This interactive webinar will present how public authorities, citizens, and energy agencies can work together to plan, finance and manage Thermal Energy Communities (TECs) tailored to their local needs. Real-world examples and practical tools will help participants understand how to kickstart or enhance local H&C projects.
Who should attend?
Local authorities, energy agencies, planners, and civil society actors from Central and Eastern Europe — but the event is open to anyone interested.
Agenda Highlights:
- What are Thermal Energy Communities (TECs)?
- Inspiring TEC cases from Central & Eastern Europe
- Tools for planning and financing H&C communities
- Interactive Q&A with project partners and local stakeholders
