Description

For the past decade, the Smart and Sustainable Planning for Cities and Regions (SSPCR) International Conference has been shaping the future of urban and regional development. The 2025 edition, held in Bolzano from 9 to 12 December, will bring together visionaries, researchers, policymakers, and innovators to explore the sustainable and digital transformations redefining cities worldwide.
Today, urban areas are navigating complex challenges, from climate change and social justice to resource scarcity, digitalisation, and economic transition. SSPCR 2025 will serve as a global platform to exchange ideas, showcase pioneering projects, and bridge the gap between research and real-world action.
Set in Bolzano, participants will experience the city’s innovative spirit, sustainable urban solutions, and festive charm. Beyond being a hub for knowledge exchange, SSPCR 2025 will be an immersive experience of sustainable living in action, all amid the magical atmosphere of Bolzano’s renowned Christmas markets.
Join the event in Bolzano, 9–12 December 2025, and help shape the next decade of smart and sustainable city planning.
