Description
The PROSPECT+ Policy Event will bring together key stakeholders to discuss how cities and regions can accelerate the energy transition by moving beyond subsidies and adopting innovative financing instruments.
Using insights from the PROSPECT+consultations, this event will highlight public authorities' experiences with financial mechanisms such as Energy Performance Contracts, Green Bonds, Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs), and crowdlending. It will also address barriers, such as regulatory constraints and capacity limitations, and investigate how policies and funding mechanisms can better support cities' efforts to achieve climate neutrality.
