Description

Discover how One-Stop Shops (OSS) are leading the way to decarbonise Europe's energy and heating and cooling at a webinar from EU Peers on 30 October!
To meet EU climate targets, decarbonising energy-intensive sectors like heating and cooling is a challenge that needs to be overcome. As many homes still rely on fossil fuels for their heating and cooling needs, innovative solutions such as OSS come into the picture to offer local decarbonisation solutions.
What to Expect
Join the webinar to learn from successful OSS initiatives and learn how to drive local impact from green energy actors:
- Learn about how EU Peers is enabling OSS knowledge sharing, best practice exchanges, and collaboration through a European Community of Practice.
- Hear how the COHEAT project has shaped decarbonised heating and cooling through four local OSS that are accelerating the green transition. With these OSS, COHEAT is boosting energy renovations for residential homes and public institutions, aiming to reduce carbon emissions by 2030 through deploying heat pumps, local heating microgrids, and district heating.
- MeetEza!, which has spent 25 years driving the energy transition in Germany, supporting the increase in share of renewable electricity from 5% to 50%. Eza! uses education to reach over 70 million readers, and equip communities with the tools needed to pursue energy efficiency, renewables, and sustainable living.
With a background of increasing heatwaves and rising demand for new heating and cooling solutions, the accessibility of innovative decarbonising technologies across Europe is key, making OSS instrumental to Europe's green transition.
