Description

What participants will learn

The Master Class will explore:

  • Heating and cooling market development
  • Relevant technologies such as biomass and heat pumps
  • Assessment and estimation of heating and cooling demand
  • Regulatory frameworks
  • Planning and financing approaches
  • Market development and Heating & Cooling Plan services
  • Collaboration with key experts supporting implementation

The programme combines workshops, case studies, problem-solving exercises, guest lectures, and peer exchange activities.

 

Training format

The Master Class is delivered in a blended learning format combining online learning and an in-person session in Brussels:

  • 23 September 2026 – Online session (morning)
  • 08–09 October 2026 – Face-to-face session in Brussels
  • 20 October 2026 – Online session (morning)

 

Trainers

The Master Class will be led by:

  • Seamus Hoyne, Dean of Flexible Learning at the Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) and ManagEnergy Coordinator
  • Christiane Egger, Deputy Manager at OÖ Energiesparverband (ESV) and member of the core ManagEnergy Team

 

Financial support

Participants can benefit from financial support of up to €550 to cover travel and accommodation costs related to the Brussels session.

Participants completing the programme will receive a Digital Badge certifying their participation.
