ManagEnergy Master Class 11 on Energy Communities

The ManagEnergy Master Class 11 on Energy Communities is a blended training programme designed for energy agencies and local and regional authorities that are new to the topic and wish to strengthen their capacity to support citizen-led energy initiatives.

Energy Communities are an important lever for accelerating the clean energy transition, enabling citizens to actively participate in energy production, sharing, and governance. This Master Class focuses on the practical role of public authorities and energy agencies in facilitating, supporting, and enabling these initiatives at local and regional level.

The programme combines expert presentations, case studies, interactive group exercises, and peer exchange, offering participants concrete insights into the European policy framework, implementation approaches, and financing options. Representatives of the European Commission will also contribute to the sessions, providing direct EU-level perspectives.

The Master Class follows ManagEnergy’s proven blended learning format, with two online sessions and a face-to-face exchange in Brussels:

• 17 March – Online session (09.00–12.30)
• 22–23 April – Onsite session in Brussels
• 12 May – Online session (09.00–12.30)

Participation is limited. Selected participants may benefit from financial support of up to €550 to cover travel and accommodation costs. Participants who successfully complete the programme will receive a digital badge recognising their participation.
