Description
The FACILITA Community of Practice on Public Building Renovation will meet online on 18 March 2026 to discuss how building registries and structured data collection can support more effective and strategic renovation planning.
Reliable data is a cornerstone of successful public building renovation programmes. During this session, participants will explore how building registries can provide the analytical foundation needed to prioritise investments, monitor progress and design long-term renovation strategies.
Hosted by FEDARENE, the webinar will present the functioning of the FACILITA building registry, including its structure, key components and role in analysing public building stock. A technical walkthrough of the system will offer practical insight into how such tools can be implemented and adapted.
The session will also feature practical experiences from the CROSS project in Croatia, presented by Marko Zlonoga from REGEA, as well as insights from Ana Sanchís of IVE on the Renueva tool developed under One Click RENO. These contributions will highlight how data-driven approaches can support municipalities in accelerating renovation efforts.
In addition, the meeting will address communication strategies for engaging municipalities and stakeholders in data collection processes, followed by an open discussion with participants.
