Description

From 16 to 22 September 2025, cities and regions across Europe will unite once again to reimagine the way we move. This year’s European Mobility Week is themed “Mobility for Everyone” and puts the spotlight on making transport more inclusive, affordable, and sustainable.
The campaign invites local authorities, civil society, and businesses to address transport poverty by ensuring that mobility solutions work for people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities—whether they live in cities, suburbs, or rural areas.
Four key principles will shape this edition:
- Universal Access: Removing physical and digital barriers to mobility.
- Fair & Flexible Transport: Supporting diverse, low-cost, and reliable mobility choices.
- People-Powered Planning: Encouraging inclusive participation in local transport strategies.
- Stronger Regional Links: Promoting coordination between urban and rural mobility systems.
The initiative culminates on 22 September with Car-Free Day, a symbolic and practical moment to demonstrate what a more people-centred city could look like.
💡 Are you ready to get involved?
Authorities and stakeholders can register their activities or apply for the EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK and MOBILITYACTION awards, recognising outstanding efforts in clean and inclusive mobility.
