Description
How can we make the green transition more affordable and inclusive for all Europeans?
This live event, hosted by MEP Benedetta Scuderi at the European Parliament, will explore the vital role of local and regional energy planning in tackling today’s energy affordability and security challenges.
The event comes as the EU rolls out its new Affordable Energy Action Plan, with planning at the heart of implementation—through NECPs, NSCPs, and increasingly, regional and local plans. The session will highlight how local actors are already leading the way, using EU tools and funding to build integrated, people-centred energy systems.
After the panel: a networking session will offer opportunities to connect with peers and policymakers.
🔍 This event is part of the IN-PLAN and Regio1st LIFE CET projects, focused on empowering regions to deliver smarter, fairer energy and climate action.
