Description
Mark your calendars for 17 - 18 March 2026, when the Energy Poverty Advisory Hub (EPAH) Annual Conference will take place in Athens, Greece!
Energy poverty is one of Europe’s most pressing social and energy challenges, which demands integrated and context-specific action for sustainable changes.
At the conference, policymakers, practitioners, local authorities, and experts will come together to examine how collaboration across governance levels can advance lasting change to combat energy poverty.
Organisation of the event
The event will be hosted by DG ENER, the City of Athens, and EPAH. The local antenna of EPAH, INZEB, will also support the event.
The conference will take place primarily on site, complemented by hybrid participation options for selected sessions, including confirmed panel discussions. A dedicated networking area will further support connection and collaboration among participants.
Agenda overview and highlights
Over two days, the conference programme will provide insights from the EPAH’s work with local governments alongside innovative approaches already delivering results on the ground.
Participants can expect a diverse and interactive agenda. High-level opening sessions will set the policy context with contributions from senior decision-makers at the EU, national, and local levels.
Panel discussions and workshops will encourage open debate, peer learning, and the exchange of practical know-how among those directly engaged in tackling energy poverty.
A guided site visit in Athens will provide first-hand exposure to local initiatives that have achieved tangible improvements for vulnerable communities, translating policy concepts into real-world impact.
Information about registration and further agenda details will be released soon. For more information and to be the first to know updates about this event, visit the EPAH annual conference website below.
