- Clean Energy Transition Investment Forum
Description
The Clean Energy Transition Investment Forum (CETIF) 2026 brings together key actors from across Europe to showcase innovative approaches to financing the clean energy transition. Organised by the European Commission in collaboration with the European Energy Efficiency Financing Coalition and the EU Covenant of Mayors. It builds on the success of previous editions of the Covenant of Mayors Investment Forum, as well as on the wide range of initiatives supported by EU programmes such as LIFE Clean Energy Transition, ELENA and InvestEU.
The event will feature a mix of high-level plenary sessions and interactive breakout discussions, offering participants the opportunity to exchange directly with practitioners, financial institutions, local authorities and project developers. As highlighted in the draft agenda , sessions will focus on unlocking investments, developing facilitation services such as one-stop shops, attracting private finance, and empowering citizens and communities.
CETIF provides a unique platform to share knowledge, explore replicable models and build partnerships that can help scale up investments in energy efficiency, renewable energy and climate adaptation across Europe.
The event will take place in Brussels on 6 May 2026, with additional networking opportunities allowing participants to connect and foster collaboration.
