Description
The EEA and the European Economic and Social Committee are bringing together policymakers, industry representatives, social partners, researchers and civil society organisations on 9 September 2026. Together, they will discuss how Europe's shift to climate neutrality is changing how the continent works and who it employs.
But this growth depends on more than technology and investment. It also depends on having enough skilled workers, and on making sure the transition creates quality jobs for everyone, including regions and workers facing bigger changes.
The discussions will feed into ongoing EU work on industrial transition, including the Net Zero Industry Act, the Clean Industrial Deal, the Industrial Accelerator Act and AccelerateEU.
