The Clean Energy for EU Islands Forum 2025 will bring together island communities, policymakers, experts, and industry leaders to accelerate the clean energy transition across European islands. This year’s edition will highlight progress under the 30 for 2030 initiative, evaluating the first results, tackling key challenges, and identifying opportunities for replication. The discussions will centre on achieving 100% renewable islands while balancing environmental, economic, and social priorities.

Participants will have the opportunity to engage in interactive sessions, site visits, and working groups, gaining insights into the real-world implementation of clean energy projects. The forum will explore key themes such as renewable energy integration, sustainable transport, energy efficiency, and resilient infrastructure, alongside the financial and regulatory frameworks that support these initiatives.

Beyond technical discussions, the event will also introduce the Regulatory Inventory as a policy support tool and showcase the CE4EUI Marketplace, which connects projects with investors. A dedicated panel will address financing strategies, investment opportunities, and the business models needed to scale up island energy transitions.
