Citizens’ Energy Forum 2026

The Citizens' Energy Forum returns on 1 October 2026, bringing together cities, energy communities, NGOs, consumer associations, businesses and citizens from across Europe. This year's focuses on what it actually takes to turn the ambitions of the Citizens Energy Package into real, impact for citizens, cities and communities. Participants will explore practical implementation approaches at local level, identifying the obstacles, enabling conditions and opportunities involved, with a particular focus on cooperation between stakeholders. The Forum will showcase experiences and solutions from across Europe, including regions particularly impacted by the energy transition.

The event will take place in Brussels, and there is also the opportunity to join online. Registration will open shortly, more information to follow.
