Description

An upcoming webinar workshop on 26 September at 10:00-11:00 CET will bring together diverse stakeholders to address obstacles facing citizen-led renovation (CLR) initiatives. From technical and financial challenges to social and regulatory barriers, the session will explore practical recommendations to support communities in leading energy renovation projects.
Register for the workshop to learn more about CLR and give your input on future CLR measures. The programme will include presentations from the CLR project and case studies from Carbon Coop Community and RenoCOOP that will provide insights into CLR practices.
Following these presentations, participants will engage in an open discussion and Q&A session. The interactive format of the Q&A session is designed to capture valuable input that will feed directly into the guidance document currently being developed by the CLR project to help scale citizen-led renovation across Europe.
This event is an opportunity to contribute to shaping recommendations that will strengthen community-driven renovation efforts. Register to be a part of it!
About the CLR Project
The Citizen-Led Renovation Initiative, also known as the CLR project or the Support service for Citizen-led renovation, is an EU initiative that empowers citizens and communities to take the lead in energy-saving renovation projects.
- In Phase I, CLR supported four pilot projects in Ireland, Portugal, Belgium and Bulgaria, helping them overcome financial, legal, technical and informational barriers to deliver sustainable building renovations.
- Phase II extended this work, offering tailored services to pilots, learners and followers. Support included one-to-one sessions, workshops, webinars, peer-to-peer exchanges and community events to build local capacity and replicate effective renovation models.
- Phase III is now scaling up. CLR is establishing a network of ten organisations, such as energy agencies, one-stop shops for renovations, energy communities and associations, to broaden the reach of citizen-led renovation and empower more communities across Europe.
Register for the webinar now to learn more about this topic and give your input!
