Circular Economy: the pathway towards a Sustainable Development International Conference

This is the inaugural conference of the HSCE aiming at establishing a regular event series. Our goal is to promote the concept of Circular Economy and raise awareness across all disciplines, fields and sectors and to communicate the latest advances in this rapidly developing field. 

As the first such organization in Greece and one of the first in Europe, our vision is to bring together international actors from science, industry, academia and civil society and provide the platform for discussion, exchange of knowledge and showcasing circular solutions.

The conference will be held between September 12 – 13, 2024 in Chania on the island of Crete, Greece with physical presence. It is co-organised by the Laboratory of Environmental Engineering and Management, School of Chemical and Environmental Engineering, Technical University of Crete, the Laboratory of Business Economics and of Environmental Technology, Department of Environmental Engineering, Democritus University of Thrace, and the International Federation of Organic Agricultural Movement (IFOAM) AgriBioMediterraneo.
