Description

The “Chatting on Citizen Energy” webinar series offers an opportunity to explore how citizens are actively contributing to the energy transition. This third session will focus on community-owned battery storage, a key solution to optimise renewable energy use and enhance grid flexibility.

Participants will gain insights into the opportunities, challenges and benefits of community batteries, with perspectives from policy experts, regulators and real-life projects. The session will cover regulatory aspects, business models, and practical experiences from local initiatives.

The webinar will include short expert presentations followed by an interactive Q&A session, allowing participants to engage directly with speakers and exchange ideas.

This session is open to members of the Citizen Energy Network, a free and growing community dedicated to knowledge sharing and collaboration on citizen-led energy solutions. Interested participants are encouraged to join the network and register in advance.
